For doing MS in the US, you need an undergraduate degree preferably an engineering degree or 4 years US equivalent degree in a related discipline. You need strong academics, a good letter of references from your teachers, a strong statement of purpose & a high GRE & IELTS/TOEFL score besides your applications being completed a year in advance before deadlines of respective universities. You may log on to the website: ets.org/gre.org for GRE information & IDP or British Council websites for test registration & for more information on IELTS, please visit:

There is no on-campus placement drive in foreign universities including USA. They have dedicated career assistance and support cells organizing career fairs, networking events, career counselling events, etc. You have to establish your network, connect with alumni, etc. to increase your employability.

Every though every experience counts but it depends on where have you worked, in what capacity, your leadership skills & decision making capacity during your work experience. So, you may look at your past experience & make a strong resume, have a word with few seniors or clients to have their letter of recommendation for your strong application besides writing strong essays. Your applications quality in all would contribute to acceptance in the countries you mentioned.
