AAU VET (Veterinary Entrance Test) is conducted by AAU (Assam Agricultural University) to admit students into various UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at Assam Agricultural University. And yes it has been approved by ICAR.

Hi. Admission Process for BVSc
Admission in the undergraduate Veterinary course is based on the entrance exam results. However, to be eligible for the entrance examination, one must have a minimum score of 50% in class 12th with Physics Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. In terms of Government and Semi Government jobs, B.Sc. Agriculture is better. B.Sc. Graduates can work in Veterinary department of State government as Veterinary doctors. Other than this, chances of getting government jobs is limited. But one can start his/her private practice.
