Students applying for a student visa in Singapore must provide a proof of financial stability in the form of a banker's guarantee or cashier's order of a minimum of SGD 5,000.

Further students must also possess the below documents to attain a student visa:

The processing time for a Malaysian student visa, from initial application to receiving the Student Pass, can take 4 to 6 weeks. This includes the time of VAL processing. It is recommended to start the application process just after receiving the admission acceptance letter from the university.
