International students who plan to study abroad in Canada must show min bank balance worth CAD 22,895 as of Sep 1, 2025.

This figure has increased from previous one which stood at CAD 20,635 as a result of the Mark Carney led Canadian government's effort to reduce the number of illegal immigrants in the country.

International students who want German student visa must have min bank balance of EUR 11,900 (INR 12.54 L) for 1st year. German govt. want to make sure that all students who apply for study visa in Germany should have enough money to fund their studies in Germany.

Students are also required to pay application fee of EUR 75 (INR 7.9 K) to submit student visa application.

International students who have received confirmation from the university must not delay in applying for a visa. Students must follow a step-by-step guide to complete the MIT visa process. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's visa process for international applicants is given below:

Accept offer: Once the student gets the confirmation, they must accept the offer letter via email. They must pay the enrollment deposit and activate the MIT email along with the student portal.

Students seeking admissions to UG & PG degree courses that require more than 18 hours of study per week, need a F1 student visa for the same.

The applicants need to be confident and must be able to answer all questions with honesty when going in for an F-1 visa interview. Applicants must have full knowledge of their course and US university they have applied to. They must show interest in coming back to home country and must explain well as to why they wish to study in USA. They must also submit all necessary details in their DS-160 form along with their social media handles (for social media vetting for US visa interview). Also, applicants must talk about relatives in USA and their relationship with them honestly if asked about in the F1 visa interview.

 If you are applying for Subclass 500 visa, it costed AUD 1,600 up till June 30, 2025. The fee has now increased to AUD 2,000. Applicants must check the conversions before submitting their Australia student visa applications.

The UK student visa generally has a high success rate. The success rate of the UK student visa application tend to remain above 90%. This means that only a very small number of applications are rejected; hence, the UK becomes one of the top choices to study abroad.  

However, with the changing visa trends, things will now be tough for Indian students as the UK Visa and Immigration Policies are imposing stricter rules and requirements for getting a student visa in the UK. Also, the UK Home Office aims to reduce the legal post-study work period to up to 18 months post completion of studies.

International students are required to submit processing fee of EUR 50-99 (INR 5.3 K-INR 10.6 K) based on country of origin. 

French student visa fee for EEF procedure countries and territories is EUR 50 (INR 5.3 K), while same for other countries is EUR 99 or INR 10.6 K.  

Student visa fee for Indian students is EUR 50 or INR 5.3 K.

  • Register on india.campusfrance.org or the French government's official website
  • Fill the specified academic fields, upload all essential documents inclduing transcripts, test scores & some personal documentation, needed for identity verification.
  • Pay the specifed application fee & submit 
  • You would be allotted a file number, that you would have to send to the assigned Campus France office for them to review your file 
  • Campus France representatives would contact you, asking to you give an in-person interview to one of their advisors
  • You must carry all essential documentation, along with a set of photocopies
