Having good books for VITEEE preparation is very important. Along with the school books, the students are also encouraged to check a few extra books that will help to boost their preparation progress. In Physics students usually refer to Understanding Physics by DC Pandey, Principles of Physics by Resnick, Halliday & Walker and Concept of Physics by HC Verma. Students can study Mathematics from Integral Calculus by Admit Aggarwal, Trigonometry by SL Loney and Higher Algebra by Hall & Knight. For Chemistry the students can refer to Numerical Chemistry by P. Bahadur, Organic Chemistry by Morrison Boyd and Concise Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee. General knowledge and basic English books can be referred to for the Aptitude and English section of VITEEE.

Before starting the VITEEE preparation, the students should prepare a strong strategy that will allow them to be confident and ace the examination. Firstly, the students should be familiar with the official VIT exam pattern and syllabus. This will allow the students to understand how the examination will be held and which topics have to be prepared. Students are encouraged to prepare a timetable so that they will be able to equally divide their time between subjects and topics and finish the syllabus before the examination. Mock tests and sample papers are important factors in the preparation process. Students should attempt mock tests and solve sample papers to know their preparation progress. Revision should be done regularly so that the students do not forget what they have earlier studied.
