No, Vellore Institute of Technology calculates overall rank based on the total score achieved out of total marks - 500. There is no requirement to clear each section.

Yes, only the VITEEE scores will be used to prepare the cutoff. Since no other entrance exam score will be accepted for admission, the authorities will prepare the cutoff using the VITEEE scores. While preparing the cutoff, the scores are an integral factor.

  • The authorities will not release the VITEEE 2025 cutoff online at vit.ac.in. However, if it is released, then the candidates will be able to access it here. VITEEE cutoff 2025 will be prepared to help in the counselling and allotment process. The authorities will consider various factors while preparing the VITEEE cutoff, such as the previous years' cutoff trend, difficulty level of exam, the number of applicants and more. If the candidates meet the cutoff, then they will not guaranteed admissions, however, they will have higher chances of admission.

VITEE offers a wide variety of courses such as M.Tech/ME, and B.Tech. The institute offers 55 courses in different streams including UG Diploma, Certificate, CCNA, MCSE, and M.E./M.Tech. Admission to all the courses is entrance-based followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 
The VITEE cut-off 2024 is prepared based on numerous factors such as 
1  The difficulty level of the entrance exam.
2.  The number of seat intake for the courses. 
3.  The number of students who have appeared in the exam.
4.  The Reservation Criteria (SC/ST/OBC/UR.)
