VITEEE is basically based on the standard 12th syllabus. So to ace your performance in the exam know your NCERTs well. That should be enough! Just practice lots of MCQ questions. That'll boost both your speed and confidence. To score well in VITEEE all you have to do is to prepare the same kind that you do for JEE exams. It's actually a similar kind. So if you prepare similarly to JEE then it will be easier to score well in VITEEE. The exam has no negative marking so make sure you attempt all the questions. Also, go through previous years' papers. All the Best!

If you've studied well for boards, then of course you can get a good rank in VITEEE. Otherwise, chances are less. Few tips -

  1. If you're in CBSE, focus only on class 12th topics. Very less topics are from 11th like equilibrium, etc.
  2. Follow the brochure and prepare accordingly.
  3.  If your preparation for boards was good, then it won't take much effort.
  4. VITEEE has no negative marking, hence attempt all questions. Keep a margin of 5-10 min just for attempting the questions whose answers you don't know.
  5. Solve your strong subject first and the weakest subject in the end.

All the best. VITEEE is one of the easiest entrances in engineering.

In all, a rank of less than 40000 can be considered by VIT for admission in popular B.Tech specializations like Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Biotechnology, and artificial intelligence etc.

Yes, you are eligible for getting admission because rank upto 9000 will land you with CSE in VIT, Vellore and upto 12,000 in VIT Chennai in first category. Otherwise you can pay more and get in 2nd category. You should get a score approximately 90 marks to definitely get CSE branch at VIT Vellore. Although, it will depend on the overall performance by the students.

As per your score you are not eligible to take CSE branch in VIT Vellore. But you are eligible to take admission in other campuses like Bhopal Chennai. But campuses other than Vellore itself is not so reputed. I better recommend you to tryany other colleges like thapar, manipal, lpu, srm.

As you can observe, you cannot get any branch at these two old Campuses of Vellore Institute of Technology with your rank of approximately 68,000 in VITEEE 2022? You need to try for VIT Bhopal and Amravati Campuses only. You will definitely get some branch there. But not Computer Science Engineering. Hope this helps!
Best regards.

Congratulations on your rank. I know it is much but it is definitely way more than what I got in the year 2022 which was 29000 something. Happily studying CSE in VIT Chennai. Alas! My parents pay a huge amount of the third category every year, but I tell them that it is worth it and I am doing better. So yes, you can get CSE in maybe the 2nd or 3rd category but not the 1st for sure.

You would be eligible to all available branches VIT offers. The only difference is that the choice of branch in day 1 counselling close with what rank. Rest assured you have good chance to get the desired branch if nothing happens in day one. You can try for Chennai Camus though. You can ping me if you want more information. Please follow and upvote. Best of luck.
