Satisfied with the college campus but placements should increase.
Placements: Over the last 2 years, the admission rate has increased noticeably and almost 50 percent of students got placed in the previous batches and rest opted for higher studies. The Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology doesn't offer huge packages on campus. The average package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package is 3 LPA-4 LPA. The lowest package is around 1.5 LPA-2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are pharmaceutical industries and startups like CISR, Keventers, etc. 100 percent of students got internships from my course since it's mandatory in 3rd year which includes RedCow, Surakha, etc. Top roles include lab technician, drug assessment, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities include labs, smart classrooms, digital monitors, advanced lab equipment, and multiple big libraries, AC classrooms, etc. I don't live in a hostel but it's overpriced for the food they offer and often cannot accommodate the huge number of students. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available but the size of the rooms is quite small. Hostel Premier League for cricket takes place. Badminton, football, and basketball tournaments also happen.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, from reputable universities with Ph.D. degrees, and they try to help as much as they can with a few exceptions. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready since it's a theoretical course and it's relevant to modern studies. The pass percentage is 35 percent and it's relatively easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it's a junction of a lot of biology-related subjects and I will have a lot of options to choose from in my master's. I wish the hands-on study was more in my course, like more industry and ecological park visits. The campus is huge with multiple sports grounds and annual fests and it celebrates almost every big event like Durga Puja and Christmas. There are multiple clubs to choose from and do extracurriculars in.

This college is overall good and recommended for good education, but placement is weak.
Placements: 40% of students are placed in my course, i.e., Computer Science and Engineering, including all the specializations such as AI/ML, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, IBM, etc. 50% of students get into top roles such as SEO Engineer, Software Engineer, Web Developer, TCS Ninja.
Infrastructure: Central Wi-Fi and air-conditioned classrooms with charging ports under the desks are available. The library is excellent. Hostel food quality is surprisingly good, and healthy eating options are also available. 24/7 medical facilities are available. Sports facilities include volleyball, basketball, and football, and the college has won state-level championships.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some are not. They do have knowledge. The course curriculum is extremely relevant and well structured. Semester exams are easy to moderate in difficulty. 90% of students pass with good marks. The attendance policy is very strict. 75% attendance is required. Otherwise, one will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in computers. I would be happy if the classes are taken in a more interesting manner. It is an extremely well-known college for events, fests, drama, fashion, dance, etc.

Great college with the best campus, teachers, and other staff members.
Placements: Forensic investigator, crime scene manager, first responder, tools keeper, CBI, CID, intelligence officer, RAW agents, and many more are the roles offered. Being into forensic science gives us a variety of career or specialisation options that I can't opt for later. Placements are great as well.
Infrastructure: They serve great food, and all other facilities are top-notch. Hostels are overall good, but food can be improved a bit. Mess food is okayish, but canteen food is great and very tasty. Medical facilities are very good. There are huge places for sports and games.
Faculty: Exams are moderate to hard, but overall it's not very difficult to attend. Pass percentage is 40%. Semester exams here depend on how we prepare. Sometimes the papers are tough, but that builds up our strength in that subject as well. Otherwise, the exams aren't that tough to attend.
Other: Events are the best part of this college.

In recent times, there has been a hike in the fee structure.
Placements: Major food industries, diagnostic labs, and other pharmaceutical companies take part in the recruitment journey of biotechnology students. Companies like Lupin, Coca-Cola, Emami Ltd, Fulford India Ltd, Apollo Diagnostics, and Peerless Hospital offer a good package of above 3.5 LPA.
Faculty: Faculty members are focused on industry-oriented training and research-oriented programs. Faculty members are highly qualified and technically knowledgeable. They also keep on upgrading themselves, which is an added benefit. Faculty members consistently focus on exams as well as teaching.
Other: The policy, such as a refunding fee, is supported by Adamas University for the 4-year course of B.Sc. in Biotechnology. The entrance is through the process of examinations like AUAT. The fee structure varies for students based on the quota of reserved seats. It is noted that there is a tremendous hike in the fee structure of all the courses at Adamas University.

Placement is poor, but infrastructure, labs, library, and faculty members are really good.
Placements: Only one company has come to our campus till now. The placement situation is really poor. However, the previous placement record was very good. Almost 97 percent of students getting placed. Some students received really good packages. The highest is 26 LPA. The lowest is 6 LPA. So, the current placement situation is not satisfying for me.
Infrastructure: There are enough labs and classrooms for students. It is a huge campus. The hostel and hostel food are really good. All students can get free internet on campus. Library is open till 9 PM. Students can borrow books from the library. There is enough space for study.
Faculty: Some really good professors are very helpful. While some are very friendly, and some are strict. The syllabus is completed on time. They also provide notes and suggestions. The exam rules are very strict, and students who cheat in exams face severe punishment. Almost 85 percent of students pass the exams. The rules sometimes create pressure for students.
Other: There are lots of events. Something is always happening in the university, and all students can participate. There are many types of sports as well. I was interested in Artificial Intelligence, so I chose this course.

It has no ragging, industry exposure, & 75% attendance criteria. Mostly, the crowd is from Bengal.
Placements: There are average placements for students doing Master's, but for Bachelors, there hasn't been a single placement batch, and we are the second batch of this course. Our seniors are in their 2nd year. However, you can get roles in corporates. As this sector is booming, you won't be unemployed. There are some companies, I can't remember their name, but IBM is there, and we had an industry visit to their sewage treatment plant. You can expect a salary package of 20,000-40,000 B.Sc. 40,000-60,000 MSc. They say the placement rate is 97%, but the number of students is also very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and library are top-notch, but our classrooms are not good for this programme. It's quite simple, some classes have an AC room while others don't. Wi-Fi is quite slow, and the network isn't strong on the campus. Our department doesn't offer digital classrooms, but there are projectors. Food in the mess and canteen is okay. The tennis court is empty all the time, it's just for a show, football, badminton, basketball and volleyball are played here. Medical facilities are quite good as of now.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, and they behave well compared to other departments. Curriculum has the industry demand courses and topics, and there are a lot of industry and field visits and seminars as well, related to our programme, which is nice. Semesters are easy, you'll pass them.
Other: I selected this course because sustainability and environmental science excited me. However, I sometimes feel bored because of a smaller number of students coming into this programme. I want to do something in real life that is not possible by just attending classes and finishing the syllabus. The most important topics in the syllabus are in the 4th year, and with my experience there, I may leave in 3rd year. Scholarships are there, clubs are there too, but inactive. The crowd is boring, and you won't get curious or students with high energy here, except for a few.

Adamas University offers 565 seats for BSc for the current session. The seats are allocated based on entrance or merit. Students have to appear in AUAT to get a seat based on entrance. The seats are available in good numbers; it means there is a high chance of getting a seat at the university.
