You must choose a course depending on the job you want to do, depending on which professions are in demand and courses which will give you good scope after graduation. You cannot apply for a PR without finding a job first. You can check labor shortage list on New Zealand's immigration website. Finance, Accounting, Marketing are some sectors which have good demand.
