The main degree is known as Journalism and Mass Communication. If one goes for this, in the later part, as in MBA, a specialisation is offered for more specialized study of particular field. This way, Advertising is a Specialisation in Journalism. Advertising and Public Relations is offered as a Master Degree or a PG Diploma under Journalism faculty.

HI Hemish!
There are indeed many courses you'll find these days in marketing and advertising but to know what fits perfectly to groom your career and hone your skills you must understand the technicalities of the industry.
I think Digital Marketing is one such course where you expand your growth to extreme as there is always so much to learn and know.
You can go for BBA Digital Marketing from UTM Shillong! http://utm.ac.in/BBA-in-Digital-Marketing

Canada has been good for many years. If you study there you get a better chance of getting job there. It is still the 1st choice among Indians.
But at the same time Australia is growing very fast in terms of giving jobs to Indians. The job prospects are more. Again, if you have Australian degree, you get better chance in getting jobs here.
In comparison, both are good but I think Canada is more well paid (But taxes are very high). So, I would suggest go for Australia. Rest is your decision.
