The colleges of Anna University, Coimbatore, include many affiliated colleges for doing the M.E. The famous colleges for M.E are: PSG College of Technology; Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT); Sri Eshwar College of Engineering; Karpagam College of Engineering; Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology; SNS College of Technology; RVS College of Engineering and Technology.

Candidates must fill out the TANCET application form online at the official exam website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Anna University commences the TANCET application form fill-up in the month of January. The last date to apply for the TANCET 2025 exam was in February 2025. Each candidate filling the form needs to pay an amount against the application fee to be eligible for the exam.

TANCET cutoff 2024 was released for Anna University affiliated colleges for MBA and MCA courses. As per the last-round cutoff, the MBA 2024 cutoff stood at 250 for Kumaraguru College of Technology, 387 for Karpagam College of Engineering and 404 for MEC - Mahendra Engineering College.
