AFMC does not conform to the usual company placement pattern; the majority of graduates join the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). There are thus no distinct statistics available for placement in AFMC for the year of 2023 regarding 'companies' that provide placements.
MBBS, MDS, and other graduates commissioned into the Army, Navy, or Air Force will be offered Permanent Commission (50%) and Short Service Commission (50%) on merit.
Some of the paramedical graduates maybe enter into civilian jobs, but there is no record on company participation for 2023. The primary focus shall remain military service, is not on corporate r

The admission criteria for the various courses at the Armed Forces Medical College vary from programme to program. A score of more than 600 (out of 720) in NEET UG is generally the cutoff for mbbs, after which some screening processes go through adjusting the final merit. A score anywhere between 550 and 600 in NEET UG is required for the BSc nursing course, in addition to an AFMC-specific test. Admission to MDS relies on NEET MDS, and securing ranks within 1000 is competitive, equating to scores of 600-650 (out of 960). In case of MD/MS, it requires NEET PG scores above 550-600 depending on specialization, for a super-specialty DM/MCh

To get admission into Armed Forces Medical College for the Master of Dental Sciences degree is to go through a proper procedure. One-year compulsory rotatory internship training begins only after completing a 5-year BDS course from a recognised university. The primary screening for admission is a NEET MDS score; that is a national-level examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations. After getting a good rank, usually within the top 1000, an applicant shall apply through the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services once the vacancies in the Army Dental Corps are announced around May.

Admission to the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune is far from being easy. The competition for selection is cut-throat that candidates tend to score top marks in NEET-UG, ideally above 600 out of 720, since the number of seats is very limited (about 130).
After the NEET comes the tough screening that includes a Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), psychological assessment, interview, and medical fitness test. Eligibility is 10+2 with 60% in PCB and unmarried status (age 17-24). Given that AFMC is a military medical college of national importance, one should be academically brilliant, physically fi

The entry procedure into the B.Sc. Nursing program at Armed Forces Medical College has tight selection standards as available positions are restricted. applicants who wish to enroll in the B.Sc. Nursing program require at least 85% to 90% MHT CET Nursing scores .Your 88% score on MHT CET Nursing ranks you among the competitive candidates who seek entrance to the exam. Your 12th class PCB score of 64% stands lower than the majority of candidates since most candidates achieve 70% to 80% scores.
