To study a Bachelor in Cardio Technician at AFMC, note that AFMC only conducts paramedical courses such as Cardio Technician for in-service candidates of the Armed Forces. Civilian candidates cannot apply directly for this course at AFMC. But there are other institutions where such courses are available, for example, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Cardiac Care Technology

The PG programme selection at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) includes the five leading programs of MD, MS, MCh, DM and PG Diploma programs. AFMC provides the MD programme across specialties General Medicine, Pathology, and Anesthesiology giving 20-25 seats for each area. The MS programme at AFMC provides two specializations namely General Surgery and Orthopedics which have 10-15 available seats each. There are two to three seats allocated for each Super Specialty MCh course. With an AIR of 12,000 in NEET, getting admission in AFMC Pune (Armed Forces Medical College) can prove to be tough, as AFMC's cutoffs are always very high. AFMC also has limited seats available and the admission involves more parameters such as a medical fitness test and personal interview as well.

AFMC confers a total of 145 entry seats to Indian students among which ten positions specifically exist for SC/ST candidates.
