Automobile Engineering

Diploma holders in engineering and BSc are only eligible to seek lateral entry admission in B.Tech 2nd year. You are not eligible to seek admission in 2nd year of engineering based on your 10+2 educational qualification.

To get admission in automotive engineering or mechanical engineering in Delhi Technological University your JEE Mains rank should be under 8- 10k. You can check previous years' cutoff for more clarification.

It is not a very well known engineering college in the country or in the state or in the city. This is mainly because it is being recently started. The faculty in the departments are pretty decent but not very great. I have heard that focus on research is good in some departments like mechanical and automobile, but is really bad in some core departments like Electrical. Placements are not that great.

The best thing is that I suggest you is to take mechanical engineering as it has good placements than that of automobile engineering.

Yes, automobile engineering is good option as in future it has vast scope.
As we know all the countries are doing projects on the flying cars which bring out more opportunities for automobile engineers as well as aerospace engineers.

You need to have a score of above 150 marks in JEE Mains and above 75% in 12th to get admission in DYPDC college for automobile engineering.
