There is no Government engineering college for automobile near Thane. You will get it in IIT, Powai. Actually, private colleges are very few for automobile.

I guess you should go with MPAE in NSIT. It has been in college for a very long time while MAM in DTU is new relatively. Plus, MPAE, being an old branch in NSIT has good placement records and faculty. Till date, 4 students from MPAE have gone to MIT so one can even opt for higher studies. Both tech and non tech companies come for placements of MPAE lads.
