You need to pursue BE or B.Tech in automobile or mechanical engineering and then opt for ME or M.Tech in automobile engineering.

Diplomas are not accepted, students must complete 13 years of education before they apply to German universities. You can apply if you meet one of the following 1. Completing the 1st-year of a Bachelor's programme from a recognized university in India in the relevant subject field.2. Clear the IIT JEE for admission
or 3. Passing the qualification assessment examination in Germany, called Feststellungsprfung.

Automobile engineering is a good field and can fetch exponential returns if you have good sound knowledge of automobiles and have good management skills if you go for MBA from top 30 B-schools.

For courses like automotive engineering, candidate must have very good academics like 70% plus in Bachelors and a good GRE score as well.
