Yes, Sharda University has a good placement record for B.Des students. In the 2023 placement drive, the highest package offered was INR 40 LPA and more than 600 recruiters participated.The average placement package for B.Des students is INR 4.5 lacs per annum and the highest package is INR 6 lacs per annum.

Sharda University offers direct admission to B.Des based on the candidate's performance in the examination. The eligibility criteria for direct admission to B.Des at Sharda University are:
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- The candidate must have a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score or a valid score in any other equivalent examination conducted by a recognised university.

The National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh (NID AP) established in September 2015, is the second autonomous multi-disciplinary design institute, under the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

While there are some colleges which do not require specifically B.Des ungergraduate degree for pursuing Masters. Whereas, on the other hand, most of the colleges ask for an undergraduate degree in either Interior Design or a related field to be eligible to pursue Maters in Interior Design. Thus, it is subjective to the college you are aiming at to get admission for your masters.

The candidate needs to have passed the 10+2 exam securing a minimum of 45% marks; reserved category candidates need 40% marks. It is important that the candidates apply for admission only after ascertaining their eligibility
