After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The total tuition fees of BDes is INR 8.6 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.

Candidates who have passed pre-university/ higher secondary/ Class 12 with Arts, Commerce or Science stream with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category and SC/ ST, Category -1 and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category students from Karnataka) can apply for BDes course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.
