No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.

Yes, students from all the streams can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore. They can fill the Joint seat allocation form if they have cleared the UCEED 2026 Entrance Exam.

There will be a total of around 245 seats in IITs for the UCEED 2026 B.Des Programme. IIT Bombay will offer 37 seats, IIT Delhi will have 20 seats and IIT Guwahati will have 56 seats.

 UCEED application form is to be filled by candidates seeking admission to the B. Des programme. Also, UCEED scores are not considered for admission to the M.Des programme. So, the candidates must instead fill out the application form for CEED . Note that both the CEED and UCEED exams are conducted by IIT Bombay.

To be eligible for BDes at NIFT Bengaluru, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed or equivalent from a recognised board. 

Aspirants must pass Class 12 from any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for BDes programme at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Design. Candidates must also have documents proving their eligibility at the time of admission.

The percentage required for BDes at Pearl Academy is 60%. The basic eligibility requirement is Class 12th pass in any stream. The accepted entrance examinations are Pearl Academy Entrance Examination.
