Successful completion of graduation, preferably in the arts stream, completed from a recognised university. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at the level of graduation.

Eligibility for B.Ed Admission:-A candidate has to pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Environmental Science, Micro-Biology, History and Geography.In the case of Economics, Commerce and Home Science subjects, only PG qualification will be considered.Candidates having cross major subjects in PG Degree are not eligible.Candidate having a direct UG, Degree (without +2 qualification), candidates having a direct PG

Post-graduate degree in Education (M.Ed /MA Education and B.Ed ) with minimum 55% marks. Ph.D. degree in Education or in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization is required.
