The JEE Main syllabus revolves around three core subjects from Class 11 and Class 12: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject will have two sections, sections A and B. Section A will have MCQs and Section B will contain numerical value questions. In Section B, students have to attempt any five questions out of 10, and there is no negative marking for Section B. |

The MHT CET exam is of 300 marks, which consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology of 100 marks each. It gives 20% weightage to the syllabus of Class 11, whereas 80% weightage to the Class 12 syllabus. Some of the important mark-fetching areas are Calculus and 3D Geometry for Mathematics, Organic Chemistry and Electrochemistry for Chemistry and Thermodynamics and Current for Physics. |
