Their is no special cut off for any course at sastra, it depends on the availability of seats
However in 2021 and 2022 for CSE your SASTRA UNIVERSITY rank should be less than 700 and 502 respectively (approximately)

There is no cutoff in sastra. It solely depends on your rank in sastra's merit list which will be uploaded after a while. For cse the rank must be not more than 500. Only then, you will have a chance. All this is for stream 1. Coming to stream 2 your board percentage should be more than 98.6%.

You must have above 55% in class 12th.
Do not have negative marks in JEE.
If you full-fill 1 and 2 you will get admission and counseling is just for showing off. You can go anytime during admissions and get yourself in.
Except CSE, you should not take any branch! No interns and No placements.
If placements are there. AVG is of 2 to 3 lakhs. Which do not worth a Engineering degree

The college is at extreme point, scenery from there is good. but after 4 years what matters is PLACEMENTS. Which till now is no

Btech cse is the most sought after course in MPSTME post their flagship MBATech courses. Fortunately, the intake in Mumbai for Btech CSE is 120.
Not going in depth, but any rank above 1250 should get you a seat in BTech CSE.
