The criteria in NIT is very High. You are not eligible in NIT but you must try in other government college for your course they give you best placement and education.

Woxsen is one of the top ranked private university in Haiderabad and the Avg. Placement offer is INR 8.10 LPA so it placement is also a very good.

No you are not selected for IIT or NIT but you try in other best government college. They also give you best programs for your study.

Yes you can opt B.Tech in biotechnology from so many other colleges those provide the course. JEE is only mandatory for IIT and some other I think, so you can choose other entrance of engineering or you can opt direct admission from private colleges.

Since, 27% of the total seats are reserved for OBC-NCL Category, so of course, Your category rank will be used in order to offer You a reserved seat, but in the cutoff lists, the CRL Rank is mentioned so that everybody has an idea that upto which rank has been a particular branch offered, to remove any confusion. Otherwise if they mention Your category rank in the list, which is say, 8000, then the candidate who has a CRL Rank of 8000 will have confusion and approach the institute for confirmation.
