Apart from IIT, top colleges for engineering are National Institute of Technology, R. V. College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University, College of Engineering Pune, UPES Dehradun, Chandigarh University, Geeta University, etc. Currently I am pursuing B.Tech CSE (3rd Year) from GU, I would say, the study of CSE in GEC is very good. CSE is one of the branches in GU having wonderful placements. Most of our senior batch students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are

No, you cannot complete the remaining years of B.Tech in distance mode after doing the first two years in regular learning mode. Regular academic programs and distance education programs are distinctly different. If you want to switch from the regular degree programme to the distance education programs, you have to withdraw from the regular degree programme and join the distance education programs by applying anew. Also, AICTE does not recognize technical qualifications except for MBA and MCA acquired through distance learning. Hence, BE and B.Tech programs are not recognised via distance learning.
