Computer Science and Engineering programme is a popular branch among students and offers decent job opportunities after graduation. Students who are interested in programming, software development, computer Science and have good analytical and reasoning skills may pursue this course. In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge

He did B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently, he is working with XL Dynamics with a decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go kart Championship which is a student-initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. School of Mechanical Engineering organized an International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICRAME), in which experts from leading brands like Maruti Suzuki, Biomimicry India were present. University give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Mechanical Engineering students at LPU are provided with enormous opportunities of placement drives. I can SEE my few friends getting placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Reliance Energy, Godrej, Sandhar Technology, XL Dynamics and many more. Even IT industries recruit Mechanical students here. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Are prominent recruiters here. PO2 : Problem analysis : Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences. PO3 : Design/development of solutions : Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations. PO4 : Conduct investigations of complex problems : Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
