The merit-based admissions are usually given to management quota students at SRMCEM. Moreover, for entrance-based admission, applicants are required to appear and secure good scores in LUACMAT stands for Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test.

No, Commerce subjects and streams are not compulsory for admission to the BBA course at SRMCEM Lucknow. The only primary eligibility required to get admission into the BBA course at SRMCEM Lucknow is that applicants must complete their Class 12 with a minimum of 50%. However, if an applicant is from Commerce stream, it is a plus point because in the entrance exam (LUACMAT), it gives 40% weightage to Commerce and Management in paper 1. Additionally, Numerical Aptitude/Elementary Maths carries 20% weight in paper 2.

As per the official sources, SRM IST Vadapalani does not mention any reservation policy for BBA programme. The seat matrix remains same, and admission is purely based on merit as per Class 12th marks. This means the 180 seats are open to all students who meet the eligibility criteria, regardless of their category or background.

For 2025, SRM IST Vadapalani offers a total of 180 seats for its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme. These include both the Regular shift and Afternoon shift options. The BBA (Regular) has an intake of 120 seats, whereas the BBA (Afternoon Shift) includes 60 seats. This setup gives students flexibility in terms of class timing while also expanding access to more applicants.
