Yes, you can become a lecturer or teacher after completing an MSc in Biotechnology. To qualify for lecturer positions in India, you typically need to pass the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) or the CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research NET) exams, which require a minimum of 55% marks in your postgraduate degree. With an MSc in Biotechnology, you can apply for the UGC NET in Environmental Science or the CSIR NET in Life Sciences, as these are relevant to your field. Regarding the preference for postgraduates in Pure Sciences over those with an MSc in Biotechnology, it largely depends on the specific job requirement

Hey,

Surely, you can, the most direct method for a Biomedical Engineer to get an IT job is through on-campus hiring. During campus interviews, there is not much focus on computer Science knowledge, but recruiters do assess and analyse your attitude, conidence and enthusiasm for pursuing an IT career.

Another way to enter the IT sector is through off-campus recruitment, although it comes with its challenges and shortcomings. The main challenge is independently acquiring expertise in industry-relevant tools, and most preferably those that are innovative and expected to remain relevant for the next decade. Learning programming langua

Forensic Science deals with the investigation and solution of the crimes. Students can investigate a demo crime scene using instrumentation techniques, DNA profiling, document examination etc.

On the other hand, BTech Biotechnology focuses on biological processes in a technical way to manufacture a quality product. So, both courses have different perspectives but biology is the common factor of the two courses.

Hi, though both fields have unique characteristics and applications. If you are into genetic information, heredity, and the molecular basis of traits, Genetics might be a better fit. If you are interested in applying biological principles to develop new technologies, Biotechnology could be more suitable.
Further, if you aspire to work in the development of new drugs, biotechnological processes, or genetic engineering, Biotechnology might align better.
