Biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for B.E./B.Tech biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities. These days admissions are strictly done on the basis of other entrance exams. Without this evil, there is normally no admission in engineering colleges. Depending on your rank, you will get the college. The best colleges are NITs.

These days, thousands of seats remain unfilled in engineering colleges in India. Hence, getting admitted is not an issue. What will you do after graduation is the issue. 40% students remain jobless. Opportunities are available, you just have to grab those.

You said, not attended classes in 2016-17. But why? What happened? Have you passed your 11th? Had you taken admission in 12th? School and your parents will surely ask you these questions. But you can revive your admission in 12th in same school or some other school as well.
