It's nice to know your dream of becoming chemical engineer. It's great. You will have to prepare and score good marks in JEE Mains or CET of your state for getting admission in engineering college. More marks you score, better college you will get.

Aviation industry constantly needs aircraft engineers for maintenance and support purposes. SpiceJet, IndiGo Airlines, Jet Lite, Air India Express and Jet Airways are some of the companies in this Industry. On a sincere note, I would recommend you to go for it if you have a keen interest in aviation.

The placement scenario varies from year to year especially in chemical engineering of Haldia Institute of Technology.
In 2017, various core companies recruited students from HIT like Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Adani Wilmar, Topchem Cement, Praxair, Wacker, S.G Biogas, IR Chemicals, Oriental Nicco, Chemtex, Voith Paper, Sanmar, and Almal.
Many IT companies mass recruited chemical engineers like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc.
