Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) has established the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, which offers B.Tech in Civil Engineering. The institute is reputed for its engineering programs with proper training and placement cells that help students fetch jobs.

The new year cutoff for B.Tech in Civil Engineering for Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) is not mentioned but the admission criteria for getting into B.Tech programs entail the 10+2 or equivalent science qualification passed with minimum 50%, from any recognized university/boarding. For the general category the merit percentile was 476, for the round 2 it was 583 and 1354 for round 3 for other categories. However this information might not be very much useful to determine HPU's B.Tech cutoffs. The annual expenditure for pursuing B.Tech at HPU for a 4-year course is around INR 1.19 lakhs and the total fee structure of the program is INR 4.71lakhs.

Eligibility for a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) course after a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering varies depending upon different colleges or universities which one wants to apply for. Usually a BFA course may have specifications like painting, sculpture, visual arts, or graphic designing. But many institutes ask for Class 12 qualification, mostly from an arts background.

Thus, a Diploma in Civil Engineering would perhaps not completely disqualify some of the institutions, because different institutions might rule your Diploma as equivalent to a higher secondary qualification or they may admit candidates from different educational backdrops as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

Artificial Intelligence will be very important in civil engineering after 2025, but it won't replace people completely. It can greatly help and improve things like planning, construction methods, and predicting how structures will behave over time. AI applications such as automated laser scanning, parametric design algorithms, machine learning and neural networks are already transforming civil engineering methods and practices. However, AI will help increase the work of engineers but will not replace them and thus professional practitioners will require to achieve moved away from manual engineering design practice out of AI tools. AI will assist in streamlining methods however human intelligence will still be key to complex decision making.
