Government College of Engineering and Research, Avasari Khurd, established in June 2009, by Government of Maharashtra, with an aim to spread technical education in the rural parts of Maharashtra in order to produce technically strong manpower by providing world class facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai controls institute through its Regional office at Pune. So being a government engineering college of Maharashtra, This is very good place for pursuing Civil Engineering course. The cutoff of asked course is varying according to categories, however for general open home university category (GOPENH), the ranks below 10000 can be safe for getting admission here.

Hello Vishal, admissions in college of engineering Pune are given based on the performance in the entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra government called MHT CET. For XII class, you need only obtain minimum passing score and admission is actually not based on marks obtained in this examination. Few seats are reserved for what is called as all India quota, which are filled up based on JEE Mains examination. Cutoff for both these entrance exams changes from year to year and hence it is of no relevance to know it now.
