Yes, you can go ahead with your desired programme. Yes, It is possible to join B.Tech course after completing B.Sc. Through the lateral entry scheme which is offered by most of the Engineering colleges in India. The lateral entry is only given to candidates who have either completed Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. Course. What it means is that you would be given admission in the second year of the Engineering course of your choice which you can select depending on the subject in which you completed your B.Sc. Hello Rajesh, it's very nice to hear from you that you want to continue with your job while studying in the college for graduation in engineering also. Frankly speaking the study in an engineering college is substantial and student meets all the time available to understand the subject and study. You having very good percentage in Diploma. To get admission in COEP you need to give entrance exam for lateral entry in B.Tech.

Hello Tejas Shelar, you have mentioned your marks in MHT CET at 70%. But these days percentage is not used for calculation of ranking but it is the percentile which is of vital importance. What is the percentile which will remind you are ranking and which in turn will determine your chances of getting admission. But I am sure you will get admission in civil engineering in one of the good colleges in mobile. Unfortunately there is no separate ranking of colleges of Mumbai based on civil engineering but there is a ranking available on other parameters.
