Dear Pranjal, Every student who didn't perform well for IITs is stuck at this point at some instance that which one to prefer NITs or DTU. I guess this will help you a little bit to get out of the dilemma and make your decision. To be very precise, I would say NIT-Trichy over NIT-Surathkal, NIT-Warangal over DTU. Last year, I also had the same dilemma and I did a lot of research for that. Let us consider few parameters:

Hello Abhishek,
It is very nice to know that you want to continue with graduation in engineering after completion of your diploma in Engineering. This definitely is a good choice since after graduation your Horizon will increase as also the job offers that will come your way. Yes you can definitely seek lateral Admission under Delhi Technological University. Only thing is you have to keep your eyes open for the advertisements put out by DTU when the time comes for students to apply online for their entrance test.
