See, there are many options but you should focus on what you know till date:
1. Attempt GATE.
2. Appear for CAT (if you want to go into the management field).
3. If you have a passion for government jobs, attempt UPSC.
4. Many government jobs are available now for which you have to qualify for their exams.

For post graduation, apply to them. Via website and when you get a call and Interview Schedule, go and present your understanding of the Targetted Subject along with General Personality of Yours. An Written Exams followed by an Interview is there. If you are going for MBA then see the require process as per CAT or MAT as specified.

The scope of civil engineering is huge not only abroad but also in India. Be it in terms of size of the industry or income. The primary reason being:
The starting pay of a civil engineer is much less than that of a, say, software engineer. And there is a good reason for it. Civil engineering is valued more on experience than that of knowledge, whereas other engineers are valued more on knowledge. The more experience you have, the more your value increases. Other fields on the other hand are pretty stagnant in terms of development with experience (compared to civil engineering)
