In my opinion, you should opt NIT Jaipur for civil engineering because NIT provides good quality of civil faculty members, good course curriculum, good placements and good infrastructure.

MNNIT Allahabad is better for civil engineering than mechanical in NIT-Kurukshetra because MNIT provides good quality of civil faculty members and good course curriculum.

No need to confuse. You should keep in mind-NIT has a tag. Even, both institutes are renowned one, but still if you have any doubt, then you can go for placement records, because academics are best.

If you are really serious about being a design engineer, I would suggest pursuing M.Des. From a good college. M.Des will serve your interest well and it has a lot of opportunities in India.

It is definitely possible, but each fashion institute has its own eligibility criteria. Some may allow admission to a candidate hailing from any educational background while others would prefer a candidate who has done graduation in design field itself. You will have to check the criteria of all the colleges that you are interested in. For example: Pearl Academy will not consider your application for the Masters programme, but NID and NIFT would accept the application as the admission criteria is solely dependent on how you perform in the entrance exam. Go for MS programme. There are varoius colleges offering the course. Notably NID, NIFT, Pearl and lots more. At any stage, you can go for designing its not a career its an interest.
