I am sorry brother but there is no such provision of getting an admission directly in the 3rd year of any course. But you can take admission in the 2nd year i.e. known as lateral entry, provided that you have completed your Diploma in the same branch and have the qualifying marks depending upon the colleges. Thank you.

First of all congratulation for getting a decent rank in JEE Advanced.
Now you should decide which branch you want to pursue. If you are interested in civil then you should surely go for IITD. If interested in metallurgical branch, then go for IITB and if still wants to do mechanical, go for Roorkee.

Both these institutions have a very good reputation and it's not possible to keep one above the other. Bot are supposed to have good faculty, placement cells and environment for studies. I would advise you to grab admission in any of these colleges if you are getting it.

Cannot be predicted. Depends on so many factors. But, a package of Rs.3.5 lac. Can be expected. Experience increases your pay scale.

As your percentage is concerned, many students have more than 80% mark in Diploma but seats in engineering colleges are limited only 10% seats.

If you have done Diploma in Construction Engineering from a recognised Polytechnic then you are eligible to seek admission in Lateral entry B.Tech degree 2nd year subject to meeting other eligibilty criteria.
