US and Canada are certainly good and have good opportunities, alternatively you can go with China which is the manufacturing hub and real estate is booming in above mentioned countries.

For affordable options you can check Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Malaysia, Poland, etc. Check QS ranking for university positions in these countries.

Hi Amit,
Students must complete 12th with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: chemistry /biotechnology / computer science / biology with at least 50% mark (45% for SC/ST category) in the aggregate. This is mentioned on their website also.

First thing, you must have a keen interest to pursue civil engineering. You need to have planning, designing, supervising and administering skills. Also, you must be ready to sweat out and construction sites and ready to work in hostile conditions.
Civil engineers have good opportunities in government sectors. There is a huge demand of civil engineers as government has boosted the infrastructure sector. There are equally good opportunities in private sector for civil engineers.

To get into civil engineering, you have 2 options. Either, you can go for Diploma after class 10th or UG, and then post-graduation. To get admission in a graduate program, you need to crack IIT-JEE Mains or other engineering entrance exams.
As a civil engineer, you need to have skills of planning, designing and supervising the construction of different buildings. You need to have a good knowledge of mathematics and science. You must have good supervisory and administrative skills. You need to sweat out on construction sites and work under stressful and hostile conditions.
