- RIT: 264 seats across 12 specialisations.
- R.V. College of Engineering: 270 seats across 13 specialisations.
Though R.V. College of Engineering offers more seats students should make sure they offer their preferred specialisation. Admissions to both colleges are based on GATE/ PGCET score.

MSRI Bengaluru admissions for the MBA programme under normal circumstances are based on entrance exams such as KMAT, CMAT, Karnataka PGCET and MAT. However, candidates may receive direct admission in the case of management quota seats. For direct admission to Management quota seats candidates must enquire the institution however the fee structure may be different for Management quota admissions.

Bachelor of Engineering admissions at MSRIT Bangalore are dependant upon entrance exams such as the KCET/COMEDK UGET. Candidates must meet the respective eligibility criteria for the entrance exam and meet the cutoff for BE/BTech. Candidates who meet the cutoff must appear at the MSRIT campus and submit required documents and admission fees to confirm their seat.
