At the postgraduate level, NEHU Shillong offers two-year MA courses to students. MA is offered in various specialisations and one of the specialisation is Geography. The fee for M.A. is INR 3,360. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the M.A. in Geography is Graduation with a minimum of 45 percent to 55 percent aggregate and the accepted entrance exam is CUET-PG. Central University Entrance Test or CUET PG is an all-India level entrance examination that is being introduced for admission to postgraduate programmes in various central and participating universities.

Not all course admissions at NEHU University Shillong are based on CUET. BTech admissions are based on JEE Main. For various courses like BCA, BA, BSc, and others, CUET is accepted by the NEHU University Shillong. CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is an all-India level entrance examination which is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The competition is high so prepare well in advance to clear the CUET exams with good scores.

Both the NEHU campuses -Tura and Shillong, offer MBA courses to students across various specialisations. The Management faculty are PhD, diploma, and various other degree holders. Both universities provide great placements to MBA course students. Students can select any of the colleges and apply for admission to various courses. The eligibility criteria for MBA is a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate and the accepted entrance exams are GATE or MAT and CUET-PG.

Yes, if we talk about National Institute of Meghalaya, there are few kind of scholarship available, basically it depends on the category from which you belong . 
If you are from SC or ST category you don't need to pay any tuition fee you just have to pay hostel and mess, and apart from that, you will get government scholarship from various scheme as per my knowledge what my friends are getting is around 60-70 thousand per year so from that only you can pay your college fee. 

If you are from general or OBC category then it depends on your family income, if your family is making less than 2 Lacs you don't have to pay tuition fees

We are having a letter grading system it goes like for the grading of the students based on the performance as per the evaluation scheme and Later Grades shall be awarded. The faculty awards the grades with the highest grade SA then AA, AB and it goes like that. The marks system is not relatively in NIT Sikkim and you will be awarded genuinely according to your individual performance.

 How SGPA is calculated (semester marking)?  

It is the weighted average of grade points secured by the student in the credit courses taken by him and is given by the expression:

SGPA = (1/ Ct ) CiGPi, I = 1

where, n is the number of credit courses

In National Institute of Technology Meghalaya if we talk about internal exam it consist of assignment, viva, class test 1, class test2, and mid term examination. As we are university so there is no such terms like internal and external examinations. Marking scheme
2 class test 30 marks
2 assignment 20 marks
mid term examination 50 marks and end term examination 100
overall 200 marks in which 70 is mandatory if suppose you missed some of the exams they these are the process
