Hacking is just a skill which requires, Coding Knowledge, Network Knowledge, Server-side Scripting Knowledge, Computer Hardware Knowledge and Testing Knowledge. Both, degree and Diploma are types of recognition conferred on a person on the successful completion of an educational course. Major differences between a Diploma and degree are listed below:
The duration of a degree course is usually 3 to 4 years and the emphasis is on academics, whereas a Diploma course is a short term course (usually 1 to 2 years in duration) that focuses on training a person in a particular field.
An institute, a Polytechnic, or even a university can offer a Diploma course. There is no need for the institute or the university to be UGC or AICTE approved. Only a university can confer a degree. To pursue higher education, only a degree from a UGC-approved university is accepted. AICTE-approved private institutes are affiliated to UGC-approved universities. In case a person graduates from an AICTE approved private institute affiliated to a UGC approved university, he still gets the degree of the university.
A person must have successfully passed the 12th standard to pursue a Bachelors degree. One must possess a Bachelor's degree to pursue a master's degree. A person can enroll for a Diploma course even after class 10. There are Diploma courses that require the candidate to be an HSC pass-out. Condition: Applicant must (have passed/have appeared for/be appearing for) the Bachelor degree examinations before July 2018.
or
Bachelor's degree of minimum 3-year duration in any specialisation, under the 10+2 system.
Condition: Applicants must have passed the Bachelor degree examinations before July 2017.
or
Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/ Architecture, after 10+2 system, from any university or institute recognised by law in India.
Condition: Applicants must (have passed/have appeared for/be appearing for) the Diploma examinations before July 2018.
