Hi Alwaz!
It is always better to pursue a degree programme than a Diploma programme. The employers will always give preference to a degree holder over a Diploma holder, especially at Under Graduate level. A graduation degree is recognised by universities for higher education and therefore has more credibility.

Hi Bharat, Yes, you can. The eligility varies from 55%-60% from college to college. DSE, MSE, IGIDR, JNU, GIPE, etc. all offer Masters in Arts. You'll have to prepare for their specific entrances. Each college has a different pattern of examination. I suggest you go though their website and check the scheme of examination as well as Google the previous years and prepare accordingly.

Major differences between a Diploma and degree:
Diploma in a layman language is a short term course generally up to 2 years which mainly focuses on training a person in a particular field.They are one of the quick and the best way to get a job as their course is based more on practicality. The importance of Diploma as compared to degree is relatively less.
