Different colleges need a different cut off. This varies year to year. You can see all the details on the official website of each college. Backlog is not that much of problem once you clear it. It may even go unnoticed. Always keep your answers ready for the interview, just in case.
Top colleges: 97+
Good college: 94-95+ usually
Decent colleges: 85+Depends on the criteria set for each year.

Hello Swapnil,
This is an excellent question. Animation is a non-conventional career option with non conventional recruitment method. The Studio/ Company guys will be more interested in knowing your skill and your knowledge rather than knowing whether you have a degree/ Diploma certificate or not. If you have acquired good skills then any certification from any well-known institute can help you in getting a good job.
Feel free revert if you have any doubts.

Hi,
If you are from Science background, then you may pursue with B.Sc -IT or BCA. These days, to pursue BCA, science background is not mandatory, but few institutes still need to have Maths as a compulsory paper in 10+2.

Hi Meghanath,
You can check universities in Canada, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and so on. You have to finally narrow down your choice by looking at things like your profile, the admission requirements, your budget, climate, etc.
