Design Entrance Exam

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur offers a Three-Year-Full-Time residential course which leads to a Degree in Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in Intellectual Property Law. You need to have a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine or equivalent. So going by that, a Degree in Fashion Technology will fall well within the ambit of 'Technology' which makes you eligible to apply for this course.

NIFT is the most popular for design courses.

You can go for NIFT. They provide both Master's and Bachelor's courses. The form was out in Nov - Dec.

In NID, you have to study maths, English, GK and current affairs and most important sketching and coloring.

They will give you some raw material from which you have to make any creative thing. Raw material like Ice-cream sticks, toothpick, cotton, paper, cardboard, etc.

You can join any coaching for preparation for situation test or there are good videos on YouTube from where you can learn.

Sorry. But I don't think NIFT provides seats free of cost whether you qualify or not.

I don't think NID provides any master's courses and if any institute provides any master's courses that is M.Des.
