Design Entrance Exam

The Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) conducts the ISDI Challenge exam in three cycles. The admission process is currently ongoing for Early Cycle 1A and Early Cycle 1B.

Note that applications will open separately for each phase. The candidate can opt for any of the phases to appear in the ISDI Challenge exam.

The SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University  offers a B. Des. (Humanising Technology at its School of Design (Mumbai Campus). Admission to the programme is based on merit of the NMIMS DAT exam.

Interested candidate need to fill out the NMIMS DAT application form. The application link will be given on this page. Note that only such candidate who qualify in the exam and meet the prescribed criteria will be considered for admission.

SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University will notify candidates about the release of call letters.

Call letters for Phase 2 were available for download on April 27, 2026. The candidate could download the call letter using their candidate credentials.

Yes, you need to upload portfolios for NMIMS DAT. When uploading portfolio, you have to follow guidelines given by admission committee.

Candidate must complete all stages of NMIMS admission process. Or else, candidate will not be considered for admission.

Yes. The admission fee to confirm the admissions can be made via online or offline mode. For offline mode, candidates are required to send a DD with their Name and Contact Details behind the DD. Candidates can usually be given 4 days to confirm their SOFT CET admissions. If the payment is not made within the given deadline, seat will be cancelled and allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.

SOFT CET 2026 Merit List will be released on the website. Candidates need to log in and then check the result. Result will be out for those candidates who have given the SOFT CET Entrance Exam.

Yes, there are sample papers for SOFT CET on website. Once the candidate registers successfully for the entrance exam, an email with sample papers will be sent. Candidates can use sample papers to prepare for the exam.
