India is a developing country, so there is nothing like one branch will dominate the other one. Every branch has its own significance. There is no mechanical device which is in use without the application of electrical energy, in some or other form. Directly or indirectly all the branches are inter-linked. This is the answer, in my point of view, for the options which you gave (civil, mechanical, electrical). .
