For CSE @ RVCE Considering you will get 296/300 in boards, you must score 168 marks or above in order to get a seat in RVCE. If you get these set of marks your rank will be below 150. For general merit students these rankings are good enough. For ECE @ RVCE Considering the same board marks I. e 296/300. For general merit students you must score 165 or above, then your rank will be below 220. This should be enough to get a seat at RVCE. I know its tough to get score such high marks. But smart work can beat anything. All the best folks! PS:- I have not mentioned about cutoffs for students with any sort of reservation because trends

I am sorry to inform you that with a rank of 7185 in COMEDK, you clearly have less chance to get admission in lower branch also in R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. Moreover, it is not possible to get any branch in this college. Don't be demotivated, be open to other options. You can ask us your queries and discuss with us about your other career-related doubts. A decent salary can be bagged in ECE both in RVCE and MSRIT as this branch has a good scope and placement track. But RVCE is more preferable as compared to MSRIT as there are several reasons -:
1. The number of companies visiting RVCE is more than MSRIT.
2. RVCE is older than MSRIT and the wine theory works here too.
3. Suppose during your engineering course you develop a desire to go for R&D then RV has the proper platform which can give wings to your passion.
4. There a number of technical clubs too for ECE which adds to your skills and helps you to go beyond your curriculum and achie

Impact Institute of Management, Bangalore is affiliated to Bengaluru Central University and also having the AICTE approval. Hence College does not have the EC Council certification. Further EC-Council is a certification agency and offers various certification courses for students after B.E/ B.Tech, BCA for enhancing the chances of getting hired by some big names in the IT sector. Hence AICTE approval is enough for running the BCA Cloud Computing And Ethical Hacking.

Really great and opportunity here are amazing. first semester placements are quite good. You have companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, SanDisk, Nvidia, Cisco etc. showing up on campus. There are about 15-20 core companies that visit on campus in the first semester for placements. Things were a bit different in the first semester 2013-14 placements. There were good companies on campus but quite distributed over the semester. So, most students, even with good CGPA got placed quite late. But, in the end there were about 10-12 good companies on campus (lesser than normal). But to sum up, first semester provides you with quite a number
