My review of this college.

Placements: Placements at the institute are the perfect definition of it. Students generally become eligible for placement from the fourth semester. Around 300 recruiters participate, including top domestic as well as foreign companies. The average package for the M.Tech program is 16 LPA, and the highest package offered is 1 CPA. The top recruiters in the drive include Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, ICICI, Tata, and HCL. Almost 100% of students get placed. I plan to work after my graduation.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are good in all aspects. 24-hour electricity is provided, and an emergency generator facility is available. The hostel is neat and clean. Sweepers come regularly to clean the dirty areas, and rooms are properly cleaned every weekend. The mess maintains good quality food.

Faculty: The professors are highly qualified, coming from both Indian and foreign universities. They have wide exposure to research and teaching experience. The associate professors and assistant professors have extensive teaching experience and teach us in a friendly manner. Students enjoy their teaching style. In the first year, everyone studies the same courses. Exams are semester-wise, where students have a few mandatory courses and some electives available within their department. One can also opt for courses of interest from different departments. For example, engineering students can choose management courses as their elective subjects. The course workload is heavy. So it prepares you for real-world work. Courses can be chosen from the 2nd semester, allowing you to select courses according to your preferences. There are minor exams, major exams, and many assignments.

Decent college in terms of studies and research facility also placement facility is good.

Placements: Both B.Tech and M.Tech. Students have same opportunity in terms of placement. Almost all top product based companies like Microsoft, Google, NetApp, Adobe, Amazon, etc. Do visit the campus for placement and internship. But you have to get the job on your own ability. Infrastructure: Whole campus is Wi-Fi equipped also there is a digital library where you can go and access journals and e-library online, IIT-P has excellent lab facility, all the labs are equipped with modern devices and high-performance cluster for computation. Classrooms are also equipped with all modern facilities like we have white-board as well as projectors to teach through slides. The library is one of the most beautiful place of IITP where you can go and read from 8 AM to 2 AM except Sunday. We have hospital facility within the campus as well as at Patna and also each student gets free medical facility here. We have outdoor game facilities like football, basketball, cricket, tennis as well as indoor games like chess, carrom, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very generous and helpful If you want you can either mail him for the appointment and discuss the point that you want to understand. They are really very down to earth and always available for help. All teachers are well qualified most of them had done their Ph.D. either from top foreign universities or IITs and also published lots of papers in good conferences and journals. Both traditional board, as well as modern audio-visual method of teaching, are used here. Student to facultu ratio is around 20:1. Companies visit for internship and you will get industry exposure if you will be selected for it.

Other: Anwesha is the annual techno-cultural festival of IIT Patna held usually at the end of January. As this one of the new IITs (established in 2008) so the number of departments and students are relatively less than the old IITs. We have internal (writing campus) as well as external (to go to Patna) bush facility which is free. The nearest railway station is Bihta which is around 2KM from the campus. There are lots of scholarship programs available for students which are intimated to students through institute webmail.

One of best among new IITs in every aspect.

Placements: My batchmates and seniors were placed in renowned companies like TCS, ISRO, well-known universities, government jobs, etc. The highest package for my batch is 10 LPA and the average is 8 LPA. Lots of companies visited the campus like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

Infrastructure: One of the best infrastructures among new IITs. The campus is fully enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi. The library is modern and of a world-class level. The labs are properly furnished. The hostel and mess facilities are also good. I did not face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college.

Faculty: All the faculty members are highly experienced, well-knowledgeable and very helpful. They are always there to support you. IIT course curriculum is the best for a technical degree. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. Industrial exposure is provided by the college.

It is a very nice college in every aspect.

Placements: The placement was very good. Out of 10 students, 5 students got placed in companies. The average salary package was around 7 lakhs and the highest package was around 10 lakhs. Students also applied for internships. They are getting a stipend of around Rs. 15000-25000.

Infrastructure: The facilities in IIT-Patna is very good like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, medical facilities, sports, etc. You will get very good research environment in IIT Patna. The food quality is average and sometimes better. Hostel rooms are good. We are getting a very good Wi-Fi speed. In my tenure, I never faced any infrastructure problem.

Faculty: The faculty members are good, knowledgeable and experience. They are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. But one or two faculty members are not good, but it will not affect you much. You will get a very good research environment. The course curriculum is useful and the teaching methods are very standard.

Overall, a very nice college for learning .

Placements: The placement is excellent. Out of 12 students, 7 students got placed in companies and institutes. The average salary package was around 7 lakhs and the highest package was around 12 lakhs. The students did their internship and received a stipend of Rs. 15000-Rs. 18000.

Infrastructure: The facilities in IIT Patna are very good like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, medical facilities, sports, etc. You will get a very good research environment at IIT Patna. The food quality is average. The hostel rooms are good. Wi-Fi speed is very good. In my tenure, I never faced any infrastructure problem.

Faculty: The faculty is good. They are helping, qualified and knowledgeable. But few faculty members are not good. The course curriculum is useful and we got industry exposure. The teaching methods are of very good standard.

IITP is very good for study and research work.

Infrastructure: The facilities in IIT Patna are very good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, medical facilities, sports etc. We get very good Wi-Fi speed. You will get very good research environment in IIT Patna. The food quality is sometimes good, sometimes average. Hostel rooms are good.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good. They are helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. But few faculty members are no so good. But you will get to do very good research. The course curriculum is useful.

IIT-Patna has a very good research environment with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement was neither excellent nor too bad. Out of 10 students, 5 students got placed in companies. The average salary package was around 5.5 lakhs and the highest package was around 10 lakhs. The students who went for the internship were getting a stipend of around Rs. 15000-18000.

The food quality is average and sometimes better. Hostel rooms are good and we are getting a very good Wi-Fi speed. In my tenure, I never faced any infrastructure problem.

Faculty: The faculty team is good, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. But one or two faculty members are not good. It will not affect you too much and you will get a very good research. The curriculum is useful and the ratio is 10 students per faculty member. If you go for internships, then you will get the industry exposure.

Other: Well of course we are having the facilities and name of IIT but due to having of its New IIT there is Little bit problem in Transit campus and the faculties are not up-to that level as in other older IITs. The research Environment is there but the mostly people/ students are preferring to go abroad for their further studies because there is some lacking in the Environment. People are not doing something new (that’s is completely reverse as expected by the students before joining n IIT).
