Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering offers several specialisations in M.Tech courses. To consider which M.Tech specialisation is best, the candidates should consider their personal goals and interests because engineering courses offer ample opportunities to their students. However, as per the recent statistics and demand in the market, the most famous M.Tech speciaslaition is Computer Science & Engineering and its sub-specialities. However, according to the cutoff of the previous batch of DSCE- the VLSI Design & Embedded System was one of the toughest specialisation to get into.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to M.Tech at DSCE is candidates must complete BE/ BTech/ AMIE or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% aggregate in a relevant discipline of Engineering from a recognised school board is the basic eligibility for M.Tech offered at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE).

DSCE is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University for their respective syllabi. In addition to the prescribed curriculum, students are encouraged to take on project work for hands-on experience. DSCE stands out with an average salary of INR 6.6 LPA for M.Tech graduates. However, Ramaiah Institute of Technology provides INR 6 LPA as an average placement package to the M.Tech graduates, and the RV College of Engineering Mtech average placement package stands at INR 7 LPA. Hence, RVCE demonstrates a higher average salary potential for its M.Tech graduates in comparison to RMIT and DSCE. Candidates can choose any of the colleges, as all these engineering institutions are famous for their PG Engineering courses, and admission to these colleges depends on personal choice.

In terms of affordability, the total tuition fee for RV College of Engineering ranges between INR 2 Lacs and INR 14 lakh. On the other hand, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering's tuition fee for M.Tech is INR 5.5 lakh. Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, M.Tech admission is based on merit and performance in an interview. Also, direct admission is offered to GATE qualified students to the M.Tech program. Apart from this, students have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates must pass the BE/B.Tech (common eligibility) for admission.

Yes, the BTech course is available at Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. The university offers BTech courses at the UG level. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria to enrol for BTech course admission set by the college. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with at least 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The SE admission process is entrance-based.
