Yes, backlogs will greatly affect your chances. It is a huge negative reflection. First of all, you have to clear all the backs without which you will not be eligible. Then also your CV matters the most, nevertheless it doesn't mean that all hopes are drowned.

Hello Avinash kumar jha. Very good college. Infrastructure : The infrastructure is very nice it looks like heaven. We have a swimming pool, outdoor and indoor stadium. We have a basketball court, gym facility also. We have many food malls on the campus, and the campus is full of trees with a good environmental condition. * Faculty : Excellent faculty with impeccable knowledge. First year, fees is RS 82,850. and total fees for 4 years I e. RS 3,31,400. hostel fees I am not sure but approximately Rs 10,000 per month.

I hope you are asking about PG admissions. So, I am quoting the exact words from the official website. "Admission to the Post Graduate courses in Engineering is also based on a selection criteria fixed by the government of Kerala where valid GATE Score is considered.”
So, only GATE scores are taken into consideration for admission here. For details on infrastructure and faculty, visit the official page and have a look on individual profiles what they have done in their respective fields. https://tkmce.ac.in/.
