There are a lot of scope for environmental science and eco nowadays as every public and private sector keeps an evironmentalist for the protection and avoiding deterioration of the environment and if comes to economist, they are needed in many fields and seeing your physics background, its quite good.

Hi Giri,
School of Distance Education-Andhra University provides various Certificate courses, Diploma courses, PG Diploma Courses, graduation and profession courses as well.
As per the information provided by the university, PG Diploma in Environmental Studies charges fee for Rs. 3,300/- for a duration of 1 year. It is an English medium course and provides Distance/Correspondence degree.
The eligibility is to be a graduate.

Hi Tina, The National Eligibility Test NET is conducted every year in the months of June and December by the University Grants Commission for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship
A candidate is eligible for appearing for UGC NET only if :-
- The candidate must have completed his post graduation in any stream with an aggregate of 55% without rounding off.
- The JRF candidates must be less than 28 years of age. Yes, you are definitely eligible for appearing for the UGC NET in Environmental Science as that is the closest to your branch. Regards.

No, Gujarat University doesn't have M.Sc Environmental Science as distance course. You can however pursue it regularly if you wish.

Yes, you can do so. There are different universities like Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education, Guntur, Directorate of Distance Education, Madurai Kamaraj University etc. Which provide M.Sc. In botany through distance learning.
