Jewelry design is art or profession of designing and creating jewelry. This is one of civilization's earliest forms of decoration, dating back at least 7000 years to oldest known human societies in Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Jewellery Design course is basically designed for people who can channel their creativity into designing pieces of jewellery for their clients. This course will test candidates in honing their drafting, designing and shading skills. This course can be pursued at various academic levels such as undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma.

Both, mass communication and fashion design has a good scope but you cannot compare both of them as these are totally different fields. Any course turns out to be a great course if you put 100% efforts of yours.
Mass communication deals with journalism, public relations, advertising and media research and much more, whereas fashion designing is all about creative thoughts and how you present them. You should have a very good drawing if you wish to get into fashion designing.
Think again and ponder over the thought that which field interests you the most and then get into it.
